Join Med Sailing Adventures for an unforgettable 10-day sailing journey through Thailand’s spectacular southern coast. Sail past limestone karsts, explore turquoise lagoons, and soak up the vibrant local culture in one of the world’s most beautiful cruising grounds.

Starting in Phuket, we’ll explore Phang Nga Bay, visit iconic spots like James Bond Island and Koh Hong, and spend two enriching days onshore in Krabi. There, you’ll enjoy included land excursions: a visit to an elephant sanctuary, a Thai cooking class, and a jungle tour to temples and hot springs. From Krabi, we sail to the lively Phi Phi Islands for snorkeling and nightlife, then on to Maya Bay and quieter anchorages like Koh Yao Yai as we make our way back. Along the way, expect a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. We’ve reserved a fleet of well-equipped, air-conditioned catamarans—spaces are limited and booking early is essential.

Itinerary

This 10-day flotilla combines the thrill of sailing with the richness of Thai culture, cuisine, and natural beauty. From exploring sea caves and snorkeling vibrant reefs to enjoying authentic local experiences on land—this voyage is as enriching as it is relaxing. The route has been carefully curated to balance scenic sailing with immersive shore excursions. You’ll visit iconic destinations like the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay, unwind in peaceful anchorages, and enjoy guided land tours including a visit to an elephant sanctuary, a Thai cooking class, and a jungle adventure to waterfalls, temples, and hot springs. Whether you’re new to flotillas or a seasoned sailor, this trip offers the perfect blend of camaraderie, discovery, and tropical serenity.

Day 1 – Yacht Haven → Koh Phanak → Phang Nga Bay

• Boarding, provisioning, and briefing
• Dinghy cave exploration at Koh Phanak
• Evening: Anchor in the dramatic limestone landscape of Phang Nga Bay

Day 2 – Phang Nga Bay → James Bond Island → Koh Hong (Krabi)

• Morning visit to iconic James Bond Island
• Sail past Koh Yao Noi to Koh Hong lagoon (Krabi side)
• Evening: Swim, relax, dine onboard

Day 3–5 – Koh Hong → Krabi (Railey Beach)

• Sail to Krabi, dock at local marina
• Activities over 3 nights:
  • 🐘 Elephant Sanctuary tour
  • 🍜 Thai cooking class
  • 🏞️ Jungle tour (Tiger Cave Temple, Crystal Pool, Hot Springs)
  • Explore Railey Beach & night market

Day 6 – Krabi → Chicken Head Islands → Bamboo Island → Phi Phi

• Lunch stop & beach walk at Chicken Head Islands
• Afternoon snorkeling at Bamboo Islands
• Evening in Phi Phi: Dinner ashore, shopping, fire shows, nightlife

Day 7 – Phi Phi → Maya Bay

• Explore Phi Phi Leh, snorkel & visit cliffside ranger stations
• Sail around Maya Bay & surrounding national park

Day 8 – Maya Bay → Koh Kai Nui → Koh Yao Yai

• Snorkeling stop at Koh Kai Nui
• Optional visit to the scenic “restaurant on a rock”
• Evening: Dinner ashore at Koh Yao Yai

Day 9 – Koh Yao Yai → Yacht Haven Marina

• Leisurely morning sail back to base
• Return yachts at Elite Charters, Phuket

Day 10 – Disembark

After breakfast, we say our farewells and disembark from our yachts by noon.  Whether you’re heading home or continuing your travels in Southeast Asia, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and culture of Thailand.
