Sail Monterey is a fantastic sailing school. I took both my introductory course and my ASA 101 class here and enjoyed the experience so much. Paul has been amazing in creating a community around the school, and does a great job recruiting knowledgeable and encouraging coaches. The ASA 101 class that I took over the course of two weekends with Captain Laura was so much fun and she gave me the confidence to not only reach out to my local sailing club but to buy my own boat! I can't thank the team at Sail Monterey enough for the part they've played in my sailing journey. While I've been busy in the short term settling into my own boat and racing community, I look forward to going back to Sail Monterey to complete my ASA 103 certification.

My husband and I had a great sail with Captain Paul yesterday! He tailored the sail to our needs and was very friendly and knowledgable about the bay. We can’t wait for our next trip!

We had such a blast! We came during the happy hour so we got free drinks & snacks. The guys were very welcoming & friendly. It was just us as a family so we loved the privacy. They offered the kids a life vest so of course safety first. We were able to get up close to sea lions & otters! Overall it’s better to go to Sail Monterey for more of a private fun personal experience.
