5 months agoWe had such a blast! We came during the happy hour so we got free drinks & snacks. The guys were very welcoming & friendly. It was just us as a family so we loved the privacy. They offered the kids a life vest so of course safety first. We were able to get up close to sea lions & otters! Overall it’s better to go to Sail Monterey for more of a private fun personal experience.

4 months agowe were looking for a short boat ride because my mom can't be out too long at a time, but most of the tours in Monterey are 3 hours or more. this company offers 90 minute tours, but we were able to get a happy hour special that's about 30-40 minutes & stays in the little bay. plenty of wildlife to see. our mom uses a walker and we had to walk down stairs to get to the boat, but if you have accessible needs you can call ahead and ask about getting a private tour from another docking point that is more accessible. the catamaran has room to roll wheelchairs on board. they have drinks and snacks and comfortable seating, but you can also stand in the center area, or sit on the front. they do offer private charters and have a liquor license. the staff was cool, the music was great, and it was a nice experience. I definitely recommend this company if you have accessibility needs, or people who can't tolerate long outings

a week agoWe sailed on Sunday ( 10 /12 ) We had a wonderful experience. I forget her name but our captain was so sweet and personable and knowledgeable. It wasn't windy enough to run without the engine, but she did raise one of the sails. That was fun. Saw some great sea life as well. Highly recommend. ( and once again, best wishes on the wedding )

a month agoMy husband and I had a great sail with Captain Paul yesterday! He tailored the sail to our needs and was very friendly and knowledgable about the bay. We can’t wait for our next trip!

2 weeks agoSail Monterey and the team were all fantastic to coordinate with the entire time. We did a private sunset cruise and they called us earlier in the day to give us a heads up on the windy conditions but were still able to make the most of it. Tanya was the most patient Captain, since there were 9 of us with a lot of personality. Despite the windy conditions, we still really enjoyed the sail and was a highlight of our girls trip. Thank you again and can not recommend the team enough for future groups!
