SKIPPER AND YACHTMASTER TRAINING

This course is a complete package for professional skippers. It includes boat
experience and all certification needed for the work in the yacht industry.
Our instructors are certified captains, and our system is combined by high
level certification (STCW) and practical experience.
Accommodation is included as a part of the practical course, giving you a
feeling of life at the sea.
You will start in the area of Rijeka and change places for overnight in
different marinas and anchorages.
The theoretical part will be done in our classrooms in Rijeka.
Course will be combined on:
-cruiser sailing boats 44 ft and 49 ft
– regatta boat 35 ft
-speedboat up to 25 ft
You can choose between three options:
1.Skipper training 7 days total
2.Skipper C + training 11 days total (certified)
3.Yachtmaster A +training 15 days total (certified)

4 DAYS THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL (SKIPPER C LICENSE)
skipper – category C
Course duration: 31 hours (25 hours of lectures + 6 hours of practical
navigation)
+ PRACTICE every afternoon after theory classes.
A certificate of qualification for a C class motorboat can be acquired by a
person who is at least 18 years of age, meets the prescribed health conditions,
completes the training and passes the exam according to the prescribed
program.
Validity of the Certificate: all boats can be operated as well as yachts up to 18
meters (and for professional purposes) and are issued for a period of 5 (five)
years. It is renewed with a valid health certificate.

8 DAYS THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL (YACHTMASTER A LICENSE)
YACHTMASTER A category (yachts up to 100 BT)
+ PRACTICE every afternoon after theory classes.
course duration: 75 hours (lectures 33 hours and exercises 17 hours +
practical navigation 25)
At the end of the Course, the yachtmaster A (yachts up to 100 GT) will be
trained to skipper yachts up to 100 GT for all purposes and in all areas of
navigation.
The certificate of the Yachtmaster A (yacht up to 100 gross tons) is issued for
a period of 5 (five) years. It is renewed with a valid health certificate .

8 months agoI had a great time spending a week in Rijeka and taking ASA 101-104 with Adriatic Sailing Academy. First off, a fun and walkable city, a great place to take a course like this. A special place to learn to sail. Above all, Fabio is an excellent instructor. I’ve spent many years instructing and around teaching in Aviation, and Fabio stands out as one of the best I’ve seen. A calm demeanor, he’s understanding and patient, you will be in great hands at his school. Truly one of the best. Thank you guys for a great course. 2 years agoI found Adriatic Sailing Academy while searching for a sailing school that does ASA courses in Europe. I did the ASA A103 3-day sailing course with Fabio. There was a combination of sailing and classroom time every day and the experience was both very chill and informative. Fabio explained various topics in detail and cared about me understanding the material for real. I also got to practice on the boat quite a lot which was cool. Taking the course on my own in the US would have cost a few thousand dollars so 650 euros for this course was also a very good deal. Overall, the quality of the course was very high and for anyone wanting to do ASA certifications in Europe, this sailing school is a great choice. Fabio is also a cool guy to hang out with on a boat. It was simple and straightforward to arrange everything with Sanja who I did the booking with. Both Sanja and Fabio are very relaxed and friendly people.

a year agoWe rented Sea Toy, à Bavaria 44 from 2003 for a two week cruise between Riejka and Zadar. We were 4 adults and 4 children on board. Even though the boat is not luxurious it has the necessary comfort for such a cruise, it is well maintained, very stable and a pleasure to sail when there is enough wind. Fabio is a great host, very friendly and very much available to answer any questions and he knows both the region and the boat in the smallest detail and his advices contributed significantly in making our holiday one to remember. Our return on this boat is very likely to happen in the future. Thank you, Fabio, to you and to your team for such a pleasant service !
